The series is a free adaptation of the novels and short stories of Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend and assistant, Dr.. John Watson: the adventures of the two, however, take place in London today.
Sherlock is a British television series of dramatic and usually yellow, freely adapted from the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The first season, consisting of three episodes of 90 minutes, was broadcast in first run from 25 July to 8 August 2010 on BBC One, receiving very positive reception from critics. It has already commissioned a second season that will be air in 2011 with the same format.
Watson is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and has yet to recover its place in civil society. When a friend suggested he find a roommate to share the costs of an apartment, she finds herself living with the eccentric Holmes.
He captured the British public and sincerely me. How
not like Sherlock Holmes, especially made with a recitation extreme schizophrenic like that of Benedict Cumberbatch? The character is thus unlikely to be true! And if it is accompanied by a Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) veteran of Afghanistan, with the mental and physical pains of the leg ... then elementary Watson: the series deserves it!
The authors were able to merge the deductions, the obsessions and attitudes of Doyle's characters with the life of the twenty-first century.
Sherlock moves surrounded by blekberry, magnifying glasses, violin e. .. nicotine patches.
Watson is a blogger (therapy for war trauma), which recounts their adventures online and Moriarty a criminal oranizzato with the most advanced technologies.
Apprezzabilissimo the fact that it is an eternal series: three episodes, that promise a certain result, but that will never cease to be three thousand.
Another nice thing about the series is that the basic tools of investigation are the observation and your powers of deduction.
Enough with the investigation resolved through multi-million dollar machines, we do the work and Cervellini ... fantastic! (Who will see the series will take the quote) as deduced
Looking Holmes wondered:
"But a crash course like this for our investigators is not it?".
